This painting has undergone quite a  journey of its own, having been hammered, torn, and even thrown off a building. Through this, the artist aimed to let go of the notion of never being enough. Referencing the posture of the Mona Lisa, considered the greatest painting of all time, she sought to dismantle the idea of needing to embody a perfect version of herself, embracing vulnerability instead.
