Description

In my Intro to wheel throwing class I wanted to create something that was more sculptural then functional. Intrigued by the unseen world of microorganisms, I embarked on a journey to bring these tiny life forms into tangible existence. I was especially interested in the microorganism on our bodies: how our bodies are home trillions of these living beings.  Microorganism are naked to the human eye and can only be see through a telescope. In my piece I wanted  to make the invisible visible: something you can touch and feel. My creations are not meant to be scientifically accurate representations; instead, they serve as artistic interpretations that capture the essence of these microorganisms.
