This garment was featured in Kmac Couture, an annual runway show in Louisville, Kentucky, accessible to the public. Kmac Couture invites local or aspiring artists to craft wearable garments inspired by a given theme. Fadel, returning for her second year in the show,  collaborated with a model, makeup artist, and film producer to actualize her creative vision. Using the theme of celebrating a national day or holiday, she wanted to honor National Paper Bag Day by crafting her garment entirely from repurposed paper bags. Her innovative creation served as a gentle reminder of the importance of choosing paper over plastic, advocating for environmental sustainability with style.
